Delete your Lawfe account

How to delete your account and data, what we erase, and what we keep.

Last updated: October 17, 2026

This page explains how to delete your account and personal data for Lawfe, the AI legal assistant app on the App Store and Google Play, developed by Charbel Al Chaar and Elias Alzaghrini. You can delete your account yourself in the app at any time, or ask us to delete it for you by email.

Option A: delete your account in the app

  1. Open the Lawfe app and sign in to the account you want to delete.
  2. Go to the Profile tab and tap “Delete Account” at the bottom of the screen. You can also go to Settings → Account → Delete Account.
  3. Confirm it’s you: re-enter your password or, if you signed up with Sign in with Apple, confirm with Apple.
  4. Type DELETE in the confirmation box.
  5. Tap “Delete my account”.

Your account and data are erased immediately and permanently, and you are signed out. This can’t be undone.

Option B: delete your account without the app

If you no longer have the app or can’t sign in, you can ask us to delete your account by email:

  1. From the email address registered to your account, write to support@lawfe.com (or lawfeapp@outlook.com).
  2. Use the subject line “Delete my Lawfe account”. If you signed up with Sign in with Apple and chose Hide My Email, send it from that Apple relay address.
  3. We reply to confirm that the account is yours.
  4. Once ownership is confirmed, we delete your account and data within 30 days of your request and email you a confirmation.

What is deleted

Deleting your account immediately and permanently erases:

  • your profile: name, email, country, phone number, profile photo, language and settings;
  • your password and sign-in links, including Sign in with Apple or Google;
  • your AI conversations and their memory summaries;
  • the documents and photos you uploaded or saved;
  • your consultation requests;
  • your chats with consultants, including messages, files and voice notes — the whole conversation is removed for both sides;
  • the ratings, reports and blocks linked to your account;
  • your push-notification token, the record of the IP address you signed up from, and your consent records;
  • if you are a consultant: your directory listing, your licence document and your consultant profile.

What is kept and for how long

  • A device hash, kept indefinitely: a one-way SHA-256 hash of your device identifier. It cannot be linked back to you or to any of your data. It only stops the free plan from being reset: a new account created later on the same device starts with its free questions already used.
  • Purchase records: Apple, Google and RevenueCat (our subscription provider) keep their records of your in-app purchases under their own legal and accounting obligations. We never receive your card details.
  • Content already sent to AI providers: questions and documents already processed by DeepSeek or Google Gemini are handled under those providers’ API terms and cannot be recalled by us.
  • Backups and logs: residual copies may remain in our providers’ backups and logs until they are overwritten in the ordinary course.

Cancel your subscription separately

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play. It keeps renewing until you cancel it in your store account.

To stop future charges, cancel your subscription in your store account before or after deleting your Lawfe account:

Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies.

Delete some of your data without deleting your account

  • All AI conversations: in the app, go to Settings → “Clear Chat History” to permanently delete all your conversations and their memory summaries.
  • A single conversation: delete it from your chat history.
  • Documents: delete individual documents in My Documents.
  • Anything else: tell us what you want deleted at support@lawfe.com (or lawfeapp@outlook.com). We respond within 30 days.
